Wedding Bells and Baby News

Chris and I headed to Georgia on June 17th to be in our friends wedding. Angela and Hunter got married in Leesburg Ga, at the Ocala House on June 18th. Angela made such a beautiful Bride!  It was such an honor to be her Matron of Honor!

Since the wedding was in my home town we took the opprotunity to have Sunday lunch with my grandparents. Chris has never met them and I was excited for them to meet. My granny cooked the best lunch and a home made chocolate pound cake! I miss them and wish we could visit more often. They also bought the baby a fire truck outfit that is the cutest!  Love you Granny and Grand-daddy!

 NOW FOR SOME BABY NEWS!!

Today I am 17 weeks. I had my 16 week appointment last friday. She checked the heart beat and drew some labs. I got news that everything is PERFECT!  Monday I had another impromptu unltrasound. He was very active. He waved and gave a big yawn and moved his mouth alot. The tech says that he was drinking. He decided to cooperate and allowed us to get a 100% fool proof shot... and He is still a HE!!
A new Profile of our SON!
A few new Belly Pics. Its Getting big....

So far I have only gained 7lbs. Dr. Rupe says that I am right on track. Im still feeling great. No sickness, only a few "growing pains" every once in a while.  Our next appt is the 21st of July.  I will be 20 weeks. This would normally be the appointment where we find out the sex, but since we already know we will concentrate on getting our boys measurements and making sure he is growing properly. I will keep you updated!

TILL NEXT TIME........

Baby Bumps a-showin!

I will be 15 weeks tomorrow!! A week ago today I had a lunch date with one of my dear friends Kim. Kim just so happens to be the nurse that works along side my OB Dr.  During lunch she offered me an opprotunity that i could NOT refuse... a sneek peak at our bundle of joy!  Chris and I decided from day one that we would find out the sex of our baby. We both would love to have a boy, but would love a little girl just the same.  I knew I couldnt go through with finding out the sex without Chris. I decided that if the Ultra Sound Tech could see anything that she would keep it a secret and put our session on DVD for Chris and I to watch together, this way we would find out at the same time!  During our impromptu session I was told to close my eyes, so i did. The next thing I knew I had a DVD and pictures in my hands. I went on a Chris hunt, luckily he was easy to find.  We opened the DVD case and took out the pictures. I felt like Charlie in Willy Wonka..waiting to see if i had a golden ticket.  We took a close look and saw....

ITS A BOY!!!    The US tech said that 14 weeks was a little early, so she could only give us 90-95% probability that it is indeed a little boy.  I say 95% is pretty high!   Here is a pic of my Baby Bump and More pics of our Jelly Bean.
This is another look at his boy parts. This angle is looking up at his bottom and his legs. The arrow is pointing to in between his legs.
Our little mans Profile

This picture was taken on Memorial Day,  I was 12w4d.

I would have to say that so far my pregnancy has been pretty uneventful. No morning sickness to speak of, just a few short 2 weeks of nausea and a bit of indigestion every once in a while. Im staring to get uncomfortable in my clothes, so i guess its about time to invest in some maternity clothes.  Well off to go shopping :)  Till next time!
